My Backpack

Basically, that up there is my backpack. I got it the summer before freshman year by accident, because I ordered a very cheap one off of amazon and they sent me this one, which was mucho nice. Our life together got off to a great start, as it went with me into the first year that I was socially accepted here, and through my many trials and tribulations of freshman year, such as going with me to Keswick, cramming for exams, staying afterschool and joking around with my new friends, going to sleepovers with me, going cutting wood with me and my dad and holding extra clothes, sitting with me in the back of geometry, and taking everything out of my locker with me home at the end of the year… and that was just freshman year.

That summer I worked on the farm most of the week, and came home Mondays, and would go back Monday night. I would take my lacrosse bag, and my backpack with me, and it saw all the drama that went on that summer. It actually, come to think about it, went with me to the movie night thing at the barn, when I asked Autumn out…huh, that silly old backpack’s been through a lot I guess…anyways, it went with me to tutoring with Mr. Fenn every day, and sat in the corner as I ate lunch and joked around with my now good friends, and back over the houses that were now accustomed to me. It went to the Mcgann’s after church, and with Mr. Aldrich to the nursing home. It’s been to Boston, New York City, Canada, Florida, countless farmers markets, and has met Ryan Higgins.

I really don't know what else to say besides that I'm not going to throw away my bag any time soon...because,well, my backpacks pretty much been with me through the most significant changes in my life, and some of my favorite moments, and harshest trials.
