Storm story

I've heard about the snow stories in Connecticut before I came, but I've never known that it would come so soon a be so destructive. We lost power like 3 hours after the storm started, and we got it back in 10 days. I experienced new things, shoveling the snow, cutting trees down. I helped Mrs.Kay clean her yard, she had a big tree fell on and destroyed her roof, but the Kays were safe, then we had dinner with them and watched movie because she had a generator. In the evening me and the Neagles slept in the living room by the fire, Mr.Neagle kept waking up in the middle of the night putting wood in the fire. The next days he was so tired so we slept over friends house. Besides the inconvenience of having no power, we also had a good time, everybody was helping each other, we had a camp fire and cooked in our backyard, I took the SAT ( this is not a good time),.. I think the storm was a good experience, and it brought people together.
