Honestly, I did close to nothing productive during our week off of school because of the storm. I worked a couple of days on college applications and helped my dad moved fallen trees for 3 hours one day. Other than that, I did a lot of sitting around, reading, watching CSI Miami and talking with Heather, who lived with me all week. Nothing exciting at all. My family has a generator, so we had heat, water, a few lights, the refrigerator and the TV, which was really convenient. The odd thing is that normally, I would totally frown upon laziness, especially for a whole week straight. But I actually really enjoyed it, and was glad to take a break from my crazy life and just settle down for a good 7 days. I have a pretty busy life and I hardly ever have time to sit and relax, so this was a great opportunity to do that. Plus I was able to re-live my childhood a little: Heather and I built a snowman and went sledding with my neighbor, and I began reading books as much as I used to when I was in middle school. It was great to get a chance to appreciate lost things in my life and spend time with my family.
